Only did HeyMondo provide the best overall coverage (which included coverage for COVID-19) their price was the best as well. Since I was going to be gone more than the original 90 days offered for long term they allow you to top up with extra time without having to return to Canada first. I mean, who wants to go through the dozens of line items or read through endless terms and conditions? Cancellation coverage only. Reimbursement of the pre-paid non-refundable transport and accommodation expenses of the trip in case you cannot travel. Multiple trips in one year.

The website was user friendly and I received a COVID Insurance Certificate. The website for the two companies in CR are not user friendly, in fact INS the state co did not work at all. My experience with Heymondo has been so positive, not just because of its high coverage and low prices but also because of the team of people who are there to help when things get worse during a trip. Why I think Heymondo travel insurance is the best one
